Mr. Gostinger began his career in retail management and oversight with Dunham’s Sports in 2000. After overseeing management, marketing, and sales in Mishawaka, Indiana, Mr. Gostinger moved back to his home town of Port Huron, Michigan and joined Citizens First Savings Bank, 2003. During his time with Citizens First, Mr. Gostinger was involved extensively in management, leadership development, financial oversight, facility management, staff development, and lending. Mr. Gostinger continually advanced within the company and oversaw the entire operation at the Lapeer and St. Clair, Michigan, banking centers.

In 2009, Mr. Gostinger followed his management and financial career by serving as the Business Administrator for Landmark Academy, the largest charter school in St. Clair County, Michigan. There he served on the executive leadership team and helped position the school for growth as they began the process of expanding by purchasing and renovating, a 93,000 square foot facility in Kimball Township.

In 2011, Mr. Gostinger was promoted to the CEO/Superintendent of Landmark Academy responsible for assuring Landmark’s ability to achieving its mission and annual goals in a prudent, ethical, and fiscally responsible manner consistent with State Laws and Landmark Policies. During this time, he also served as the VP of Summit Management Consulting, the management company who oversaw the full operations of Landmark Academy.

In 2012, the owner of Summit Management Consulting passed away. Mr. Gostinger stepped into the shoes of his predecessor as the CEO/Owner of Summit Management Consulting while continuing to serve as the CEO/Superintendent of Landmark Academy. He provided stability and structure for the organization and put it on a path of academic and financial growth. In 2014, Mr. Gostinger appointed a Superintendent for Landmark Academy.

Today, Mr. Gostinger is the CEO/Owner of Summit Management Consulting with a team of over 100 employees. He is in the process of executing a Masters in Education Leadership, he holds a BA in Business Administration with concentrations in marketing and computer applications. He is also certified in Learning Styles training from the Learning Success Institute; holds two Achievement Certificates from the Dale Carnegie Course, and was awarded the Dale Carnegie Golden Book Award; was part of the inaugural Blue Water Leadership Program.

He strives to continually sharpen his effective leadership skills through local, state, and nationally renowned leadership and organizational development training. Specifically, his training and inspirations come from the likes of Dale Carnegie, Steven Covey, Patrick Lencioni and Andy Stanley.

Mr. Gostinger has the propensity to instinctively envision the potential of people and organizations; he can successfully create a path that drives toward desired outcomes. His positivity and servant leader approach grounds, yet empowers, the teams he leads and works with to achieve their goals.

Mr. Gostinger is a family man with a devotion to God, his wife and three children.
